Give up smoking support
Understanding
First of all, if you haven't already, checkout my Hypnosis Mind Model that explain about the conscious, subconscious and unconscious minds.
Motivation
Wow is there a lot of stuff on the internet about finding and maintaining motivation to give up smoking! The great thing about hypnosis is that you only need to have the motivation to get to see a therapist for it be successful!
"Motivation" and "will power" are actually functions of our conscious minds which means that they are only effective as long as you're actively thinking about them - which is why giving up through will power is so stressful!
The great thing about hypnosis is that we do not need conscious effort!
Parts Therapy
Using hypnosis, we work directly with the subconscious mind and make permenant changes meaning that when you walk out of the session, cigarettes and smoking will not even cross your mind. No conscious effort is required to remain a non-smoker. It is the most natural thing in the world to not smoke. If a friend offers you one, you first response may even be a "why would I want a cigarette!?"

This is the classic call for part therapy: You want to give up smoking, and there is an inner conflict between the different "parts" of your mind.
The concept of parts therapy is that our minds are like a watch or computer with lots of different cogs and components each contributing to the whole.
By using a trance state, we (you and I) can work with the individual cogs and components and using effective questioning and suggestions, we can identify those parts that normally deal with smoking and find something more positive and useful for them to do.
Metaphor
Like children, our subconscious minds are excellent at interpreting metaphor and during your time in trance, I will make the most of the opportunity by telling you some metaphor filled stories to help your subconscious mind make all the changes it needs to.
